Self Portrait

I felt like drawing something today so I sat down on the floor of my room (where all my great ideas seem to come from) and came up with this. I haven't done a self portrait in quite a while. Not bad, I think.

Poseidon's Lair

Another project for class. I struggled with it for over a week over the composition and what to put in the piece. I thought I'd go with a more colorful color palette and make it a bit more fun looking and whimsical. I just realized after looking at it a few times..maybe it looks too cute to be Poseidon's lair?

Class work

A painting I've been working on for my advanced digital painting class. Still in progress. I'm happy my composition turned out the way I originally planned, since I'm sure most of you know, a lot of times what you imagine isn't what you can get onto paper (for whatever reason).

Current side project- A portrait of my coworker's daughter per her request.

Another project

I had a friend ask me to create a design for his guitar, so this is how it came out! I was very pleased with the results.




Design was transferred onto the guitar using charcoal pencils with the good ol' cover the back of a design (on paper) with charcoal, slap on design and trace method.

Finished!

The finished product! I added in all the final details a couple weeks ago and delivered it to my friend last night as a birthday gift.
